KLOS ANIMAL ADOPTION DAY ANNOUNCED IN LONG BEACH: MAY 8, 2010 Radio personalities Mark and Brian will be in Long Beach to promote animal adoption on May 8, 2010. This one of a kind event is sponsored by KLOS radio station and the spcaLA to provide Long Beach families with the opportunity to adopt healthy pets into loving homes. Thousands will attend; hundreds will be adopted.

ANIMAL CARE SERVICES PROMOTES “LITTER FREE LONG BEACH” IN MONTH OF MARCH Animal Care Services estimates that there are over 103,000 dogs and 123, 000 cats already living in the City of Long Beach. In an effort to reduce the number of animals impounded each year, ACS is promoting March as "Litter Free Long Beach".
